I had a mixed experience at this resort. The amenities were great, and I particularly loved the views of the lake, which were simply stunning. However, my experience with the kayak rental was quite disappointing as the equipment was not properly maintained, leading to a dangerous situation. I recently stayed at this resort during Thanksgiving weekend in the Lakewood King Suite, which was beautifully designed and had a cozy gas fireplace. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by service issues, particularly at breakfast, where we encountered long waits and inattentive staff. The grounds were well cared for, but the discomfort with the bed and the breakfast experience made me hesitant to return.
